All the artists and bands I wrote about on this blog for the past 40 weeks have been bands I listened to throughout high school, university, and Master’s program. Gin Wigmore is the first one that I discovered post-college, after I jumped into real life. While I started listening to her in 2013, it wasn’t until 2018 that I really got into her music.
The reason I started listening to her? Steven Padin and Joey Secchiaroli from The Reign of Kindo were her drummer and bassist for her North American tour for concerts, studio sessions, and TV appearances.
…and as I mentioned last week, Joey really did rock that bass whenever he played it.
That’s not the only collab with one of my favourites—David Hodges is a co-writer for one of my favorite songs of her.
I’m gonna leave a bunch more songs here, because Gin’s a musical feast, and I can’t bring myself to remove any unused songs from this post.
There's a [second music video for this song](http://youtu.be/lMQofCndDAA), a continuation of this story.
She’s really a beast, and is one of the two artists I have at my fingertips for whenever I’m driving, or starting a task that I need to focus on. I won’t be surprised if she comes out as #1 in this years Spotify recap for me.
